Blues Books Donation to Sand Lake Town Library

On May 16th CRBN presented a collection of children's books on the blues to the Sand Lake Town Library. Pictured is Librarian Mary Sapp with CRBN Board Member Margo Singer. We donated the complete three book series of Tas Cru’s “Bubba the Blues Hound” together with a copy of "Frankie Finds the Blues" by Joel Harper.

CRBN is committed to providing literacy and enrichment opportunities to children through blues music. These book donations were funded through grants from the Stewart’s Foundation and the Golub Foundation.

In April, CRBN received a Merit Award from the Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards & Capital Records Live in recognition of this program.
